The Republic of the Marshall Islands will host the Micronesian Women’s Conference from 8-10 August at the International Conference Center in Majuro.
Preparations for the conference are underway by the Micronesian Women’s Conference coordinating committee that is comprised of representatives from government offices and Women United Together Marshall Islands (WUTMI). Deputy Chief Secretary Kino Kabua is the Chair of the committee and acting as Co-Vice Chairs are Internal Affairs Assistant Secretary Molly Helkena and WUTMI Executive Director Kathryn Relang.
The conference is expected to bring together women representatives and leaders from all sectors from the Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Palau, and the US territories of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
