The domestic airline is Air Marshall Islands (known as AMI), and it was established in 1980 with the current name adopted in 1989. The airline is wholly owned by the RMI government. AMI operates regular services from Majuro to several outer islands, generally on a weekly basis. Its fleet is made up of two Dorniers and two Cessnas. There is also a Bombardier HDC-8 Dash-8 Q100, but it is up for sale (as of August 2026).
