Enemanet Island, a few miles from downtown Uliga in Majuro, is the perfect place for a picnic. The eastern end is owned by the Kramer family, who happily rent out the picnic facilities on the island so that everyone can enjoy their beautiful beach location.
The family also generously allowed the Mieco Beach Yacht Club to place reef-saving moorings for cruising yachts in front of their land. To use the moorings, people need to be a member of the club (see sailingmarshallislands.com).
Cruisers are welcome to visit the island, but they are asked to say hello to people visiting the island or speak to the caretaker.
